Introducing WICTor, our cutting-edge third-generation 318 conveyance system, currently in the Middle East with a track record of successful operations. Designed for optimal performance, WICTor boasts impressive speeds of up to 100ft/min and a pull force of up to 1200lbf. Its dynamic speed range is unmatched, allowing for speeds as slow as 1ft/min in both forward and reverse directions.
One standout feature of WICTor is its superior tractoring ability, showcased in a challenging well scenario where competitors necessitated tandem tractors to enter a 9 5/8 to 7-inch liner transition with >80 degrees deviation. WICTor's standard four-wheel version effortlessly navigated the same well profile, thanks to innovative design elements such as the dual wheel profile with enhanced wheel contact area for effective tractoring in casing or open hole. The independent wheel-arm control allows the closure of individual wheels to step over problem areas in the well, showcasing a proven ability to tractor with just three wheels.
Key design features include a fully protected wheel when closed, ensuring that the tractor does not limit running speeds into and out of the well in non-tractoring sections. The open wheel cavity to the borehole minimizes debris accumulation, with no pivot points to collect debris. Maintenance time and cost with WICTor is simpler and cheaper, eliminating the need to mix oils on location. A quick inspection between runs ensures a seamless return into the well.
WICTor has proven its robustness when paired with 4 ½” perforating guns, requiring no post-job maintenance. Qualified for operations in Kuwait and undergoing the qualification process for the UAE, WICTor is now open for orders as we gear up for the next set of Commercial Tools.
